I have conceived this idea of writing a blog for many years, but i never came through with. Why???? Well I always thought I would run out of steam and have nothing to write about. Years have gone by, and I still hold this close to my heart. The problem is I have gone through many ideas on what I should write about.....from health, food, relationship, politics, travel, news, celebrity gossip e.t.c I am no expert on any of these topics but I sure do have some knowledge about them and with our interactions we will learn from each other. So this blog will surely be about everything in general.......IT WILL BE ABOUT LIFE!!!
I was speaking to one of my close friends about two years ago, and we got talking about about how she has been able to take care of her "first" child (hahahaha.. I used the word first, because I keep telling her she will have more, even though she keeps reminding me of how expensive it is to give a child a quality life). She talked about how important it is to ensure that you feed your child with a variety of meals when you start weaning them and also stay true to good nutrition and healthy meals. We talk as often as we can, and sometimes she talks about the foods she prepares for her infant...who by the way is 3 years now. I told her that she has great ideas and these should be put into creative use in a blog, book or better still in video form. Then she said, "I think you can write blogs too, because you are very interested in a variety of topics and you read a lot of them". I thought to myself and felt like this might be the "aha moment" I needed all this time and maybe THIS IS THE TIME!
The first time I conceived of this idea was in 2011 when I set up an account in one of the blog websites but I never went back to it because I was either too busy to acknowledge the fact that I could do something like that or I was just not listening to my inner self.
Well today, I decided to open my laptop, sign up and start blogging. To tell you the truth, I really do not know what I will be talking about, but it sure promises to be an exciting journey.
